Caring Stitches is a group of women that meet every third Tuesday of the month from September through May. We deal with any type of hand work such as knitting, crocheting, and sewing. We also offer instructions on how to do any of the hand work for those who are interested.

Primarily, we donate our handmade items to local charities when possible and some examples are hats, scarves and gloves for the homeless, baby items for the Right to Life baby shower every October, and lap blankets for the local nursing homes. We are also involved in making helmet skull caps for the military overseas. 

We also are involved in a group project every two years for the Parish auction and this past year we made a beautiful Christmas quilt. Individual members also contribute separate items for the auction.

Our group is very small, usually consisting of 5 members, and we accept donations from parishioners for yarns, sewing items, and material of which we always have a good response.
